Sein Kynthei constituted in East Jaintia Hills District in Shillong

SHILLONG: The Dorbar Shnong Umkiang on 21st December last year has constituted the Seiñ Kynthei Shnong Umkiang, (women organization) East Jaiñtia Hills District. The purpose of the Seiñ Kynthei is to shoulder the responsibility of the dorbar in various activities and to be vigilant against the growing menace of drugs and alcohol which affects the society and the local youths of Umkiang village.

The general secretary of Seiñ Kynthei Shnong Umkiang, Happiness Tongper informed that the office bearers includes President Daria Surong, Vice President Fancy Palam, General Secretary Happiness Tongper, Assistant Secretary Bibi Dharm, Finance Secrectary Himani Chadong and 40 other members.
