Two NSCN (R) cadres held in Changlang District

Tinsukia: Based on a secret operation, Assam Rifles Changlang Unit apprehended two hardcore cadres of NSCN(R) in the wee hours on Tuesday near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh Border.

The cadres were identified as Salbim Solthing and Resham Rekhang.

Assam Rifles also recovered one pistol, four round live ammunition, around Rs 10,000 cash and several incriminating documents from their possession.

Meanwhile, Assam Rifles have handed over the custody to Changlang Police Station.
