Agniveer recruitment for Arunachal, 9 districts of Assam

Tezpur: Army has begun the process of recruitment of 'Agniveers' from nine districts of Upper Assam and complete Arunachal Pradesh. A recruitment rally will be held by Army Recruiting Office at Jorhat Stadium, Jorhat Assam from 07 to 23 September 2022. Applications have been invited from the volunteer candidates on the www.joinindianarmy website. A notification giving out complete details has been published by the army and candidates can apply for the recruitment rally online on the site from July 3 to August 3, 2022.

The rally is being organized for candidates of nine districts of Assam including Jorhat, Majuli, Tinsukia, Charaideo, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, North Lakhimpur, Sivasagar and all districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The eligibility criteria for the rally have been given on the www.joinindianarmy website as well as the notification. Registration by the candidates on the website is compulsory and eligible candidates will be issued with admit cards to attend the rally in August, stated a press release by Lt Col A S Walia, PRO (Defence), Tezpur, a press release said.
