ITANAGAR: In a swift and determined response, troops of the Assam Rifles successfully cleared a major road blockage between Noglo village and Lazu in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district, restoring essential connectivity for the local population. The route, crucial for civilian movement and access to services, had been rendered impassable due to landslides and debris. Assam Rifles personnel promptly mobilised and carried out extensive clearance work under difficult conditions, working in close coordination with the local community. Their timely action brought immediate relief to the affected villagers, who along with local authorities expressed deep appreciation for the force’s commitment to public welfare. The operation reaffirms Assam Rifles’ reputation as the “Sentinels of the North East”, dedicated to supporting infrastructure and development in remote regions.
