ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday handed over ‘KIBO’, a powerful AI-driven reading device, to the students of Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired, near here. Sharing the moment on social media, Khandu expressed his joy, saying, “Very happy to hand over KIBO, a powerful AI-driven reading device, to the students of Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired. With KIBO, our children can now access printed, handwritten, and digital content on their own, in their own language, and at their own pace.” The chief minister thanked the Social Justice & Empowerment department and Trestle Labs for making the initiative possible. “Real progress happens when innovation meets compassion, and when no one is left behind,” he remarked, underlining his government’s commitment to inclusive growth and digital empowerment.
