ITANAGAR: As 'Bigg Boss 18' is reaching its grand finale, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced his support to one of the show's bright stars, Chum Darang.

The actress from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, has managed to reach the top 9 and has gained considerable attention both in her home state and across India.

Pema Khandu took to social media to congratulate Chum on her achievements, encouraging his followers to vote for her. He wrote, "I am happy to learn that Chum Darang, daughter of Arunachal Pradesh, has reached among the top 9 of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Show your solidarity with her, and don’t forget to vote for Chum. I am hopeful that she will be a winner and achieve many milestones in the years to come. My best wishes to Chum Darang.” 

Chum Darang’s journey on the reality show has been widely followed, with her charisma and resilience earning her fans nationwide. In the latest 'Ticket to Finale' task, Chum Darang fought against Vivian Dsena and showed commendable sportsmanship despite being injured. Though Dsena won, he was quite moved by Chum's spirit and gave her the ticket to the finale, which Chum graciously declined. The much-awaited finale of "Bigg Boss 18," hosted by Salman Khan, is set for telecast on January 19.
