Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik on Thursday praised the state Legislative Assembly’s transformation into a modern and paperless institution, calling it a ‘destination of pride’ in the state capital.
He also commended Speaker Tesam Pongte, for his visionary leadership and progressive reforms during a meeting held at Raj Bhavan, here. Parnaik applauded the Speaker’s innovative efforts in adopting Artificial Intelligence tools and transitioning the Assembly to a fully digital, paperless system. He described the integration as a landmark step that places the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly among the most forward-thinking legislatures in the country, an official statement informed.
Speaking on the Assembly’s evolving role, the governor emphasised its vital contribution to governance, public welfare, and inclusive development. He also lauded the Assembly Secretariat for its creative redesign and thoughtful planning that blended aesthetics with enhanced functionality.
