Arunachal Pradesh reports two fresh COVID-19 cases

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh's COVID-19 tally rose to 55,288 on Sunday after two more persons tested positive for the infection, a senior health official said here.

A total of 54,976 people recuperated from the disease so far in the north-eastern State including, three on Saturday, the official said. The COVID death toll in the State remained unchanged at 280 as no fresh fatality was registered in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. The north-eastern State now has 32 active cases, he said. State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung informed that a total of 14,19,684 people have been inoculated so far in the State.
