Arunachal Pradesh: Security forces recover huge cache of arms, ammunition

Itanagar: Security forces have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation along the Miao-Vijoynagar axis in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district, a defence official said. Acting on specific intelligence regarding presence of arms and ammunition in MS 38 area, the Assam Rifles unit under Spear Corps launched a search operation on Thursday, Guwahati-based Defence spokesman Lt Col Mahendra Rawat informed on Friday. He said the operation involved extensive search employing specialised teams, niche technology equipment, tracker dogs, etc.
