ITANAGAR: In a remarkable gesture of solidarity with India’s armed forces and the local community, the Soldiers Independent Rehabilitation Foundation (SIRF), a Pune-based NGO, has donated a 200-litre capacity oxygen plant and refilling facility to the military field hospital at Teli Village under the Tawang circle of Arunachal Pradesh.

The oxygen plant was formally dedicated to the Indian Army by General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 5 Mountain Division, Major General K S Grewal. The event was graced by SIRF President Sumedha Yogesh Chithade and members of the foundation’s executive team.

Expressing deep appreciation, Maj Gen Grewal said, “This noble gesture by SIRF is truly commendable. The oxygen plant will benefit both our soldiers and the civilians of Tawang, as all Army medical facilities are shared equally with the local population.”
