Arunachal: Subedar Wangnam Nokte conferred COAS veteran achievers award

ITANAGAR: Retired Subedar Wangnam Hakhun Nokte of the 6 Assam Regiment has been conferred the Veteran Achievers Award by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) during a ceremony held in New Delhi. Nokte, who served in the Indian Army from February 1976 to March 2002, was recognized for his distinguished service and continued contributions to public life post-retirement. He is the only recipient from the North Eastern region among the three veterans selected for the honour this year.
