
ITANAGAR: In a thrilling journey of more than 2,000 kilometers, a fleet of supercars have made it to Bumla Pass, which is situated on the Indo-Tibet border. The event, which was called the Arunachal Himalayan Odyssey – Thrill Run, took the scenic Trans-Arunachal Highway route, giving participants a glimpse of the picturesque landscape and adventurous nature of the region.
Beginning from Pangsau Pass in eastern Arunachal Pradesh, the drive took the participants through the state's stunning and majestic mountains and ended at the snow-capped peaks of Bumla in the west. The ride was not only a test of strength and speed but also offered the stunning natural grandeur and abundant cultural diversity of Arunachal Pradesh.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu participated in the event and expressed his enthusiasm on social media, describing the journey as a historic milestone. He remarked, “Engines roared, hearts raced, and history was made — right at the roof of our state!” The fleet featured high-performance vehicles, including Ferraris and Porsches, which are seldom seen in such elevated locations.
The event drew adventure seekers, automobile enthusiasts, and locals alike, all of whom welcomed the achievement of this great expedition. The expedition has not only established Arunachal Pradesh as a top destination for tourism and adventure but also proven the region's strong infrastructure capable of reaching even the remotest parts of the Himalayas.
