Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh has proudly won the prestigious 'Best NSS Contingent Award' at the week-long National Integration Camp (NIC) for NSS volunteers, which was held at Assam Agriculture University (AAU) in Jorhat from January 21 to 27 last.

The award reflects the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of the state's volunteers toward promoting national integration.

Adding to the state's achievements, Janglin Lamra, a BA fifth-semester student from Wangcha Rajkumar Government College at Deomali, clinched the first prize in the speech competition, bringing great pride to Arunachal Pradesh, a statement said here on Tuesday.

The camp, organized by the NSS cell at AAU in collaboration with the regional directorate of NSS, Guwahati, focused on the theme "Youth for My Bharat." It included a variety of competitions such as speech, art, and rangoli contests, which enriched the experience for participants.
