
ITANAGAR: The Nyishi community of Arunachal Pradesh celebrated the Boori Boot Yullo festival at Nyokum Ground, Nirjuli, with much excitement. This important festival featured traditional dances, music, and religious rituals, showing the rich culture and unity of the Nyishi people.
Boori Boot Yullo is a time-honored festival that symbolizes gratitude and togetherness, bringing the community together in a collective celebration. The festival is deeply intertwined with nature, culture, and the communal spirit, highlighting the Nyishi people’s enduring connection to both their cultural roots and the environment. Meanwhile, the tenth edition of the Arunachal Film Festival (AFF) is set to commence on February 6 at TNZ Cinemas with a special curtain raiser event scheduled for January 30.
Sharing details about the event, PRO-cum-nodal officer at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Dugyir Padu, said, “This time movie enthusiasts and film lovers of the state are in for a cinematic treat as the Arunachal Film Festival (AFF) gears up to host a curtain raiser event on January 30.”
