Arunachal’s ‘She Rise Cafe’ Promotes Women’s Empowerment, Says Minister Wahge

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Biyuram Wahge on Friday said the women-run "She Rise Café" would promote women empowerment while addressing the long-felt need for quality restaurant facilities at Seijosa in Pakke Kessang district.

Inaugurating the café at the 3rd India Reserve Battalion headquarters, Wahge said the initiative would benefit local residents and assured that the area's electricity issues would be resolved soon. He praised the 3rd IRBn for establishing the café and said its name reflected the strength and aspirations of women.

Inspector General of Police (Operations) Apur Bitin commended the initiative, while Pakke Kessang SP Swati Singh said the café was inspired by the contribution of women to the state's economy and aimed to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance. Commandant Manish Shaurya said the café would provide affordable and hygienic food to battalion personnel and local residents.

Managed entirely by Tanyang Mina, Hibu Mamung and Agi Doke from the 3rd IRBn family, the café aims to serve as a model of women-led entrepreneurship and community welfare.
