ITANAGAR: A 16 member inter-ministerial team and representatives from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Alliance Air, on Friday inspected the proposed Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) site at Aliney village in Dibang Valley district.

Anini MLA MopiMihu and State's Civil Aviation Deputy Director Tom Ratan also accompanied the team, an official report informed here.

The team assessed the feasibility of the proposed ALG and thoroughly inspected the technical aspects of the landing ground required under its guidelines.

The MLA requested the central team to approve the said project as early as possible for the benefits of the civilians as well as the security forces posted in the area.

Meanwhile, a team from union Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MoRTH) led by Secretary GiridharAramane, Chief Engineer U C Katara and National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) technical director V K Rajawat along with the MLA inspected the ongoing Hunli to Anini (NH-313) road construction project implemented by NHIDCL.

During inspection of the site at package 4 and 5 of Sushee Infra and package 6 of TTC, the team directed the contractors to complete all the delayed projects within the stipulated time period.

The secretary also visited and surveyed two new proposed road projects from Mipi to Basam and Dambuen to Brunei under ICMR roads, the report added.
