COVID-19 pandemic: Bordumsa MLA Somlung Mossang donates 100 quintals rice along with cash

BORDUMSA: Amidst the ongoing battle between humanity across the globe and the pandemic COVID-19, MLA Somlung Mossang lending an aiding hand to the State government and the local administration donated hundred quintals of rice along with cash to help mitigating the challenges confronted by the quarantine people here in Bordumsa and Diyun circles in Changlang district of eastern Arunachal Pradesh.

“Fifty quintals of rice each in Bordumsa and Diyun Circles along with financial assistance were received by me here in Bordumsa which would be judiciously used in feeding and serving other required needs of the quarantine people across the constituency”, said the Devansh Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bordumsa here this afternoon adding Mossang has set an example for others to come forward at this hour of need.

Extra Assistant Commissioner Diyun would monitor the need-based allocation of rice among the various centres wherein 220 persons are being quarantined while it is kept under the disposal of ADC Bordumsa in Bordumsa where around 70 persons are quarantined after screening as a preventive measure.
