Daily market along Assam border unveiled at Mateka-I village

ITANAGAR: Legislator Tana Hali Tara and Biyuram Waghe inaugurated a daily market at Mateka-I village and interacted with the people of Tarraso circle on Saturday.

Addressing the public, Hali asked the people to maintain peace and brotherhood among the Assamese neighbors.

Further, Hali also requested the Circle Officer of Tarasso and OC in-charge to provide best possible safety and security to people from Assam who visits the State for trade reasons. In the meantime, he also directed the RWD Department to speed up the ongoing PMGSY road from Ramghat to Radasso and from Bormai to Deriabill.

Meanwhile, Pakke Kessang legislator Waghe said that the market can play a vital role in maintaining cordial relationships between the people of two States in terms of trade and cultural exchange.

He also assured to work together with Tana Hali to construct a road from Seaijosa to Degalmukh and to Tarasso via Radaso under Papum Pare district. However, he appealed to the public to cooperate with the leader and departments for smooth execution of any developmental activities.

Earlier, the legislators also visited Radaso village which shares its boundary with Pakke-Kesang district and is the last village of Papum Pare. They also interacted with IRBN personals posted at Radaso.
