Dusu Taker Rinya bags National Florence Nightingale Award

Itanagar: Dusu Taker Rinya, presently serving as an assistant matron at Gyati Taka General Hospital at Ziro in Lower Subansiri district, has been conferred this year’s prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award.

The award was presented to her by President of India Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi on Thursday during a glittering function held on the occasion.

Born in 1964, Rinya joined as nurse in May 1982. Married to Dusu Takar, she has two sons and two daughters, an official communiqué informed here on Saturday.
