Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) Organizes Yoga Sessions At KGBV, Dirang

DIRANG: An awareness-cum-yoga practice session was organized by the Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Tawang unit, at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Dirang on Tuesday. The Tawang unit informed that the main objective of organizing the awareness programme was to give publicity for the ensuing 5th International Day of Yoga as well as to make the people aware about the multiple benefits of yoga. Yoga expert Sonam Drema Khirmey demonstrated the various asanas. She also urged the villagers, students and teachers to make yoga a part of their daily life for their health and welfare.

Gaonburah T Dorjee lauded the programme conducted by FOB Tawang in the village. He also assured to extend their full cooperation to FOB to organize any awareness programme in his village in the near future.

Earlier, a mass awareness rally was also conducted which was participated by the students and teachers of KGBV, Dirang.

BASAR: The Field Outreach Bureau (FOB) in collaboration with Shri Shri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living, Basar Branch and Sant Farances De Sales School Basar organized a public rally as a pre-publicity awareness campaign for the International Day of Yoga, here at Basar on Tuesday. The rally was participated by a large number of people of the locality and the officials, teaching staff, student and inhabitant of nearby places. Yoga instructor from the Art of Living, Basar branch, Ebi Basar attending the programme as a resource person.
