Free ENT surgery camp held at Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat

PASIGHAT: A three-day free ENT surgery camp was conducted by Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh at Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat in association with Ments Hospital Bengaluru and BPGH.

A six-member team of ENT Surgeons, Anaesthetist and Technicians from Ments Hospital Bengaluru led by Dr Pradeep Kumar conducted the free surgery camp. They were assisted by ENT doctors and technicians of BakinPertin General Hospitals, Pasighat.

A total of 17 ENT surgeries were carried out during the camp. In addition, about 200 patients benefitted from ENT OPD. Patients from East Siang and adjoining districts benefitted from the camp.

The valedictory function was attended by chief councillor, PMC, OkiamMoyongBorang, Joint Director Dr T Tali, Medical Superintendent Dr YR Darang, and other dignitaries.
