ITANAGAR: The State unit of the National People's Party (NPP) on Friday appealed to the State government for an 'all-party meeting' on vexed Arunachal-Assam boundary dispute.

Addressing the media persons at the press club here on Friday, State NPP president Mutchu Mithi appealed to the State government to conduct an 'all-party meeting', where inputs from all parties are heard regarding the boundary dispute between the two States.

"We believe that the umbilical solutions can be found by internal talks as both the States are ruled by the BJP government", he said, adding that the boundary dispute is a long pending issue, and the matter is under Supreme Court which will take time to announce its final decision.

Mithi suggested having collective discussions with the counterpart to come up with a solution as it is a sensitive issue.
