Kamle Deputy Commissioner Loyi Inaugurates Coaching Clinic For Students

Itanagar: Kamle district Deputy Commissioner Loyi on Saturday inaugurated the coaching clinic for meritorious students of the district at Government Higher Secondary Raga. The coaching clinic under the Acharya Gurukul Yojana is an initiative by the government to provide best of coaching facilities to the students studying in the rural areas. During the inaugural program, meritorious students were also awarded cash awards, laptops and smartphones, an official comminique informed. Lauding the government’s initiative to encourage and motivate students, the DC said, “A society is progressive when people are enlightened. Through this flagship programme, the government aims to create a pool of educated and enlightened students, who will grow into law abiding citizens.”

“Kamle still needs hand handling in the education sector. Because of communication bottlenecks the new district has a long way to traverse,” Loyi further added.

Underscoring the role of teachers and parents in shaping the future of the students, the DC appealed them to guide and motivate the students.

He advised the students to use the smartphones and laptops for education purpose and to keep themselves abreast with the tech savvy world.

Noting that girls have outnumbered boys in performance, the DC said, “In a patriarch society like ours, encouraging girl students with such program is a encouraging step to empower women.”

Among others school principal Oshon Borang, head of departments attended the program, the comminique added.
