LBSNAA director calls on Arunachal Pradesh Governor BD Mishra

ITANAGAR: Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussoorie, Srinivas Katikithala on Tuesday called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr BD Mishra at Raj Bhavan here in a courtesy call.

The Governor emphasized providing quality training to the trainee officers in order to promote good governance and socio-economic justice for all. LBSNAA, as the premier training institution for the civil services in India should lay strong foundation by advancing the spirit of transparency, accountability, probity, equal dispensation, self audit and mid-course correction, whenever required amongst the officers to build a professional and responsive civil service, Mishra said.

He suggested for regular training programmes for the officers from Arunachal Pradesh so that they exponentially contribute in nation building, amelioration of the poor and downtrodden and to ensure that the benefits of welfare programmes reach the targeted segment in the state.
