Minister Bamang Felix inaugurated Women Police Station office in Itanagar

ITANAGAR: On the 47th Police Raising Day, Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Bamang Felix inaugurated the new office building of Women Police Station (WPS) in Itanagar on Friday.

The Home Minister was accompanied by Liromoba legislator Nyamar Kabak and Capital legislator Techi Kasso along with Director General of Police (DGP).

Bamang Felix said that the Home department is working on for the construction of new police station buildings in all the districts of the State.

When questioned on the recruitment of head constables for the Tirap, Changlang and Longding (TCL) area, he said the department is doing its best to start the recruitment process at the earliest.

Earlier, the Home department had advertised for the recruitment of head constables for the TCL region but despite many applicants, till date there is has been no recruitment.
