Rashtriya Poshan Maah Launched

PASIGHAT: East Siang district Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu on Monday launched the month-long 5th National Nutrition Month (Rashtriya Poshan Maah) by administering the Poshan Pledge to spread the message of proper nutrition for healthy growth at the grassroots level.

Anganwadi Workers, AWHs and Staff of DD ICDS Pasighat and also Arunachal State Rural Livelihood Mission (ArSLM) staff along with heads of line departments joined the pledge. The DC stressed on convergence activities with line departments like Education, Health & PHE with the WCD for success of the 5th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, 2022 in the East Siang district.

DD ICDS-cum-Nodal Officer Poshan Abhiyan, Machi Gao briefly highlighted the main objectives and various activities of Poshan Abhiyan. She also sought cooperation from all line Departments for the success of 5th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, 2022.
