Recycling Drive Carried Out In Arunachal's Pasighat

PASIGHAT: The Green Squad (GS) team along with the members of Swach Siluk Abhiyan (SSA) and Pasighat Central Solung Festival Celebration Committee-22 carried out a recycling drive at the Pasighat Gidii Notko ground near here on Monday.

The members collected around 256 kg of plastic bottles and other recyclables items and accordingly sent them to the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for recycling, thus reducing the pressure on the environment.

Notably, the Green Squad for the long time has been taking up end-to-end waste management projects collecting rejected goods from the neighborhood and best known for waste segregation and management in East Siang district. The Pasighat Central Solung Festival Celebration Committee-22 appreciated the efforts and felicitated all the participants with certificates of appreciation for taking up various green initiatives.
