River rafting programme organized at Yingkiong in Upper Siang district

Itanagar: A day-long river rafting programme over Siang River was organized on Tuesday at Yingkiong in Upper Siang district. The programme was organized by Yingkiong-based AARRO Adventure with the aim to spread knowledge and importance of nature among the local people of the district in a general and special package for the woman to promote the tourism activities in the area.

The programme was led by Everester Kishon Tekseng, a two times state gold medallist and Akoing Tekseng, state gold medalist, an official communique informed here.
