Seijosa Police arrested one for assaulting minor

ITANAGAR: After almost four weeks, the Seijosa Police has finally arrested accused Lukbi Bojir, who was absconding since May 26 after allegedly assaulting a minor girl. Speaking to the media persons, Superintendent of Police – Pakke Kesang, Habung Hailyang informed that the accused had surrendered before the police near Padumoni, North Lakhimpur of Assam on Thursday.

"The accused is under police remand for the next seven days, and the investigation team will interrogate him properly. Moreover, police will try their best to file a strong charge sheet against the accused as soon as possible," the SP added.

Lukbi Bojir is an Elementary Teacher and a permanent resident of Tirbin town under Leparada district.
