Workshop on Capacity Building Held in Tawang, Arunachal

Itanagar: A two-day workshop on ‘Capacity Building’ for the panchayat members, teachers and students of Jang-Mogto and Thingbu block in Tawang district which began on Tuesday at Government Higher secondary school Jang ended on Wednesday.

The workshop was organized by Samagra Shiksha Society of Tawang, an official communique informed. Tawang Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Sang Khandu, Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE) Hridhar Phuntsok, Monpa Mimang Tshogpa president Rinchen Dorjee, public and student leaders attended the workshop. Various problems of the schools were placed by the members of their respective schools. Parents and students also took active participation during the deliberations.

Rinchen Dorjee and Sang Khandu spoke about the role of teachers as well as parents and students to make the quality of education better and high morale. DDSE Phuntsok speaking on the occasion asked the teachers to be more sincere on their duties and to work collectively for the development of society. He further urged the students to be good human, the communique added.
