13 candidates in fray at Behali, Biswanath & Gohpur LACs

BISWANATH CHARIALI: On the last day of filing nominations, as many as five candidates filed their nominations for 76 Biswanath LAC. They include Promod Borthakur (BJP), Anjan Borah (INC), Duldul Borkataki (AJP), Milicharan Basumatary (Voters' Party International) and Dwip Borthakur (Inependent). In 77 Behali LAC, the candidates who filed the nominations are Ranjit Dutta (BJP), Bibek Das (CPI-ML), Anjan Upadhyaya (AJP) and Jayanta Borah (Independent). On the other hand, four candidates filed their nominations for 78 Gohpur LAC. They are Utpal Borah (BJP), Ripun Borah (INC), Dr Gopal Phukan (AJP) and Sabiram Narjari (Voters' Party International).
