142 Bn CRPF discusses security scenario in Disputed Area Belt

GOLAGHAT: The Commanding Officer of 142 Bn CRPF, Bharat Kumar Vaishnav and the Second in-command of the unit, Ratul Das had a meeting with State Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Atul Bora at Golaghat Circuit House on Tuesday. They briefed the minister regarding the security scenario in the Disputed Area Belt (DAB), the duties being performed by the neutral forces (CRPF) in DAB and the various challenges/ problems being faced by CRPF while discharging their duties.

The Commanding Officer also briefed the minister about the civic action programme being conducted by CRPF in DAB and how CRPF was maintaining a cordial relationship with the people in DAB. The minister assured that he would apprise at the relevant forum for mitigating the challenges/ problems being faced by CRPF while discharging their duties in DAB.
