TANGLA: Rajya Sabha MP and Paneri Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Biswajit Daimary said that the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) was struggling to get voted to power in the forthcoming Assembly polls but after polls, the party would be whitewashed and leaders of the party would switch to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the BJP and its allies would come back to power in Dispur.

"The saffron party has brought various pro-people welfare schemes which have benefitted every section and age group and the people will vote for the saffron party and its allies in the assembly polls," he said. Attending a mass joining ceremony at Tangla town in Udalguri district where more than 2,000 people joined the party, Daimary said that the Paneri LAC had various natural spots having potential to be tourist hotspots and if voted to power, he would work towards popularizing the region. He also asserted that if the government made proposals, law colleges and technical institutes for skill development would come up in the region. He alleged that the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) lacked vision and think tank and therefore, there were no policies to mould the power of the educated unemployed youth.into a tangent of growth and prosperity.
