BISWANATH CHARIALI: Twenty-one people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Biswanath district.

The affected people who were in the quarantine centres have been identified as Kiran Tamang of Biswanath's Golia, Raja Parag of Barpukhuri Bor Line, Babul Kutum, Ramen Patir and Manoj Patir of Kathalkuchi, Gohpur, Rajen Darji of Rangchali, Vijay Ramananda Pegu of Natun Doloni, Ranjit Saikia of Bilatia, Durlav Deuri of No 4. Balijan, Krishna Katwal and Pramod Sahani of Chatia Karaiyani, Rantu Mallik of Bokajan, Shiromoni Burhathoki of Chandrati, Suresh Nayak of Kettela, Borgang, Abhijit Limbu of Behali Bihmari, Deepak Bodo and Honu Bodo of Kari Garage, Helem, Shankar Tacha of Changelimari Jinjia, Binod Munda and Meri Bhumij of Gohpur Bholaguri and Churamani Dahal of Bakori Doloni, Gohpur.

Meanwhile, the Gohpur subdivisional administration declared Deepora Bhim Bahadur High School area as containment zone on Thursday after Horin Boral who was in the quarantine centre set up in the high school tested positive recently.
