24 KV teachers face action for skipping mandatory poll training in Tezpur

TEZPUR: In a strict move ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly Election, the District Election Officer has ordered immediate disciplinary action against 24 teachers from four Kendriya Vidyalayas in Tezpur for negligence in election duty and misconduct during a training session. The action comes after the teachers, despite being assigned election responsibilities, failed to attend a mandatory training programme and allegedly displayed inappropriate behaviour in the presence of election officials and trainers.
