24 Person test COVID-19 positive in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: As many as 24 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Biswanath district on Wednesday. According to information, these people had returned from other States recently by bus and train and had been put in different quarantine centres of Biswanath and Gohpur subdivisions in the district.

The affected persons were identified as Diganta Ghimire, Thungsang Daimary, Bikash Adhikary, Ajay Pradhan, Navin Tiwari, Amrit Chetry, Durga Sharma, Jagannath Kairala, Ramen Mahanta, Dinesh Dhaka, Lila Tiwari, Ajit Khodal, Sujit Khodal, Sanak Sabar, Purneswar Khodal, Dilip Paik, Biswajit Khodal, Sunil Khodal, Anil Khodal, Debaraj Khodal, Krishna Bahadur Chetry, Sabir Khodal, Diganta Nath and Sachin Pokhrel.

With this, the number of affected people in Biswanath district has gone up to 35. All the COVID-19 positive persons were sent to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
