25 fresh COVID cases detected in Sonitpur district
Total 25 COVID-19 cases were detected in Sonitpur during the last 96 hours, taking the total caseload in the district to 8,291 since May last year till date.

TEZPUR: Total 25 COVID-19 cases were detected in Sonitpur during the last 96 hours, taking the total caseload in the district to 8,291 since May last year till date. However, following increase in positive cases, the district administration has declared three areas as containment zones in the district. The active containment zones were LGB Girls' Hostel, Saikia Chuburi, Mission Chariali Tezpur, No. 3 Gormara under Chariduar revenue Circle and Bokula Gaon under Chariduar revenue Circle in Sonitpur District.
