KOKRAJHAR: The Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar organized its 1st ever convocation on Monday in the campus auditorium.

Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of BTC graced the occasion as chief guest. Eminent personalities such as Prof. Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairmen AICTE and Dr. Prahlada Ramarao, Padma Awardee, 2015 were present as guest of honours. Prof. T G Sitharam, Director of IIT Guwahati & Director (Additional Charge) CIT Kokrajhar along with Chaitali Brahma, registrar, deans, and faculties were present on the occasion.

In the 1st convocation, altogether 28 M Tech students were conferred their degrees and 42 toppers of various departments of CIT were felicitated in the convocation.

Pramod Boro in his speech stated that it was indeed a great achievement and wish to look CIT as one of the top institution of our country. He promised to extent full support from the Government to the CIT administration.
