3 brokers arrested at Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, Barpeta

BARPETA: In the last few months, a group of brokers have been harassing the patients who come for treatment at the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta. In the name of buying blood and medicines, these brokers compelled the patients’ families to buy medicines outside and took money to arrange for blood and other facilities. In this regard, three persons, namely Mazibul Hussain, Dilbar Hussain and Ayub Ali were arrested here by Barpeta Police led by Ranjan Doley, OC, Barpeta sadar police station. Ranjan Doley said that the brokers were working for the pharmacies outside the medical college by taking commission.
