31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon organizes civic action programme

GOSSAIGAON: A civic action programme was organized by 31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon at Fulkumari village LP & ME school (Block-Kachugaon) on Saturday. Sh. Divya Ranjan Singh Commanding Officer 31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon, Dr T T Hatzaw CMO, Dr Jeevan Khasia PHC of Soraibil, Sh. Prakash Narzary, Block Coordinator and other officials of 31st Bn SSB and villagers of Fulkumari and Haldibari were present.

During the programme, Sh. Sh. Divya Ranjan Singh Commanding Officer distributed sanitization items to 25 needy peoples of Fulkumari and Haldibari villages. Dr TT Hatzao, CMO provided medicines to 270 villagers and 33 people got COVID-19 vaccination. In this programme the medical checkup and medicines were distributed to the beneficiaries free of cost.

Sh. Divya Ranjan Singh Commanding Officer 31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon made aware the local villagers about various welfare schemes being implemented by various ministries & departments of the Central government and State government. He also stated that SSB is deployed on Indo-Bhutan border and committed to thwart nefarious designs of anti-national elements. Apart from securing the borders, Sashastra Seema Bal is also conducting various awareness programmes and schemes launched by the government from time to time to benefit the population living in the border areas.
