71st Republic day observed in Sarupathar, SDO (civil) greets people on the occasion
Sarupathar: The 71st Republic day was celebrated across the Country including Sarupathar in Golaghat district, the event was started from 9 am on Sunday with patriotic songs and from community flag hoisting to the tricolor adorning the rooftops.
The sub-divisional officer Dr. P. Uday Praveen SDO (c) of Dhansiri Subdivision hoisted the flag on the general field in Sarupathar.
On the other hand, the administration and the public of Dhansiri Subdivision observed this day of 71st Republic day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The Administration of Dhansiri subdivision, Students from various schools were doing marchpast and also performed the cultural activities, the huge audience was also present on the field.
Speaking to media, SDO(c) of Dhansiri Subdivision said 26th January is a day to celebrate our patriotism and love towards the country.
