80% voter turnout in the second phase of Assam election in Morigaon district

MORIGAON: With voter turnout of 80 per cent, the second phase election concluded successfully in Morigaon district on Thursday. In 79 no. constituency, total 78.9 per cent voters turned up to exercise their franchise. In 80 no. Morigaon constituency, the voter turnout was 79.1per cent vote while in 81 no. Laharighat constituency, voter turnout was 82 per cent vote. A few clashes between voters took place and a a police personnel was injured.
