83.27 % turnout in the first phase of Assam Polls in Thowra Constituency

DEMOW: Polling was held in Thowra constituency in the first phase of the Assembly polls on March 27. There are 1,15,364 voters in Thowra Constituency and among them 58,368 are males and 56,995 are females. The 1,15,364 voters have decided the fate of three candidates in Thowra Constituency.

Kushal Dowari, candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sushanta Borgohain, INC candidate, and Dipen Tanti, Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) candidate, are in fray in Thowra constituency. The polling percentage was 83.27 per cent in the constituency this time. The result of the Assembly polls will be declared on May 2.
