A tribute to Gautam Goswami

Gautam Goswami, popularly known as Babloo died suddenly on March 2, 2021 leaving his family members and friends in a state of shock. He was the eldest son of Late Girish Chandra Goswami and Smt. Jyotikona Goswami.

He was born on March 30, 1959 in Digboi and spent the initial years of his life there and later moved to Guwahati, where he attained a B.Com degree from the Guwahati Commerce College.

He started his working career with VST Industries and thereafter went on to work with Times of India where he held the position of Branch Manager in Guwahati. He also served as DGM (Administration) during his tenure with BGS-SGS Soma at Subansiri Project.

An ardent lover of photography, he was often spotted behind the lens in family gatherings and other events, while his love for cooking was also known to all. His wide smile and sense of humour coupled with his friendly nature ensured that he leaves behind an indelible mark on his friends and family. On the occasion of his Adya-Shraddha on Friday (March 12,2021) we pray for eternal peace of the departed soul.
