Aam Aadmi Party Ward Commissioner joins BJP in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: Udita Das, the one and only Ward Commissioner, who was elected to North Lakhimpur Municipal Board as the representative of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined BJP on Sunday.

The joining meeting, organized on this occasion at Lakhimpur district head office of the BJP, located in North Lakhimpur town, commenced with president Phanidhar Baruah in the chair. In the meeting, Udita Das joined the BJP along with more than 150 AAP supporters expressing commitment to the ruling party's ideology. The meeting was attended by Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka along with several BJP leaders.
