Hojai: The All Assam Minority Students’ Union (AAMSU), Hojai District Committee, strongly condemned the heinous attack by Pakistan-supported terrorists on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on Tuesday, which claimed the lives of over 28 innocent civilians. In protest against the massacre, AAMSU members burned an effigy of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Pakistani national flag at Doboka in Hojai district on Wednesday.
In a statement, Munwar Hussain, Chief Advisor of AAMSU’s Hojai District Committee, said, “We demand that India retaliate against Pakistan for this attack. If it does, every member of AAMSU will fully support and cooperate with the government.” He added, “This is a matter of our Indian identity. Our country comes first everything else comes later. Hindustan Zindabad!” On the other hand, members of the Assam Nagarik Manch (ANM), Hojai, also condemned the cowardly act by Pakistan-backed terrorists in Pahalgam.
