AASCSU leader suffers major head injuries who was allegedly attacked by BJP

GOLAGHAT: The president of All Assam Scheduled Caste Students' Union (AASCSU) Dergaon unit was allegedly attacked by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activist and he was admitted at GMCH in Guwahati with major head injuries.

As per allegation, a BJP activist attacked Niranjan Das two days ago. Das is a member of students' organization AASCSU. He sustained major injuries in the forehead.

In this context, AASCSU Golaghat district committee condemned the incident and demanded stringent action against the BJP activist. In a press statement of the organization, president and secretary Bhrigu Kumar Das and Pronab Protim Das, condemned the attack and alleged that the BJP had started attacking SC people.
