ABSU appeals people to welcome PM Narendra Modi on February 7

KOKRAJHAR: The All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) has thanked the governments of India and Assam for inking the BTR Accord with the Bodoland movement groups on January 27. It called upon all communities of the State and the region, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion, to take part in the grand welcome ceremony to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Jangkrithai Fwthar, Kokrajhar on February 7.

In a statement, the general secretary of the ABSU, Lawrence Islary said they were fully prepared for the welcome ceremony of Prime Minister Modi in Kokrajhar. He said that the people of Bodoland region and the signatory organizations were eagerly waiting to welcome the Prime Minister with the new hope of a flourishing nation. ABSU appealed to all communities of the Bodoland region to come at the grand BTR Accord celebration to welcome the Prime Minister of India at Jangkrithai Fwthar, Kokrajhar on February 7.
