KOKRAJHAR: In a significant development of the Advantage Assam 2.0, as many as 30 investors have come forward to Kokrajhar with investment proposals worth Rs 211 crores.
A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing event was organized at Science College, Kokrajhar, as part of the Advantage Assam 2.0 initiative. The event was graced by the presence of MLA Lawrence Islary, District Commissioner Kokrajhar Masanda Magdalin Pertin, Additional District Commissioner Kokrajhar, Lead District Manager (LDM), and officials from various line departments.
For Kokrajhar district, a total of 30 investors from diverse sectors came forward with investment intentions, amounting to an estimated Rs 211 crore. These investments are expected to drive significant transformation in the industrial landscape of Kokrajhar, fostering economic growth, generating employment, and creating new business opportunities.
This MoU-signing marked a crucial step towards positioning Kokrajhar as an emerging industrial hub, in alignment with the broader vision of Advantage Assam 2.0 to attract investments and boost economic development in the region.
