Advantage Assam 2.0 secures Rs 174.09 crore investment in Dhubri

DHUBRI: A Total of 56 investors of Dhubri district signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here in the DC conference hall in presence of Dhubri District Commissioner, Dibakar Nath as a part of two-day ongoing Advantage Assam 2.0 — Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 being held in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Dhubri District Commissioner, Dibakar Nath while addressing media persons here in his office conference hall informed that 56 investors signed MoU today. They would be investing Rs. 174 crores in different sectors of industries, manufacturers and services in days to come in the district.

“Investors will invest ranging from Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 50 crore and above and there is one food processing industry coming up near Halakura - Nature Harvesting and Agro Processors Pvt Ltd in Dhubri district which is investing Rs 93 crore in food processing industry,”  Nath added.

When asked as how the investors will be benefited from the government, Nath said that all the investors would be provided a hassle free official formalities and clearance including aquaring land at the earliest possible time, so that investors could set up their industries, manufacturing units and open service oriented centres in schedule time frame and by no means they would be delayed.

The total investment of Rs 174 crore will primarily go into setting up food processing industries, manufacturing units and services of Rs 121.30 crore, Rs 4.69 crore and Rs 48.00 crore, Nath further informed.
